Patricia Vela - OwnerI am a naturally neat and organized person, and growing up with a creative (and messy) brother, has helped me learn how to help others get organized. The fact that he's still talking to me means I've also learned some patience as well. While in high school and college, I waited tables and despite the crazy hours and hard work, I really enjoyed working with people in the service industry. In college I received a degree in computer science from Boston University and worked as a programmer for 15 years, honing my logic and time management skills, but I missed helping people. I attended a NAPO Regional conference in 2005 and was astonished (and thrilled) to discover that helping people get organized was a career in which I could actually support myself. It was a great pairing of my love of service and logic. After a couple years of saving and working up the courage to change careers, I decided to start organizing for a career.
