What our clients say about us .... organizing periodicals: "Thanks for reminding me about the failure factor inherent in having too many periodicals/too much reading materials. I said last night that I struggle with those top 2 issues most of your clients experience. I suppose everyone does, but compared to my tendency to over-subscribe, gather political & social commentary essays, not to mention health care & insurance industry related articles (enough by itself!) is almost like an addiction. I keep falling off the wagon. Add to that the fact I love beautiful books & suddenly I have no leg to stand on being critical of people like my mother-in-law. So it's good to be reminded, but even more so by someone who is non-judgemental & can id it in clinical terms: the feeling by the subject that either he or she is not enough or that there may be something of value too precious to miss out by NOT reading it. Of course, it could be suggested that the latter (or both) may be due to sophisticated marketing by the publishing companies, but unfortunately, it also speaks of a low (or at least not fully realized) self esteem, IMO." -Residential Client, Houston |
